Injection molding with 3D printed molds - SLA

Win Industry combines 3D printing technology with injection molding, allowing our customers to quickly realize small-scale mass production. We use 3D printing technology to create mold inserts and place them in our modular mold base. This approach provides customers with valuable options, from fast functional components for testing to validating design concepts.

For example, for the insert molding of some medical equipment part, using this method, your prototype parts can also be molded in the actual resin of the design component, which can be delivered in a shorter time and at a lower cost than metal molds.

Generally, materials with a lower melt temperature are most suitable for 3D printing mold cavities. In some cases, parting lines need to be cleaned and/or post-processed and polished.

Equipment: Formlabs 3D Printer

Win Industry uses Formlabs printer to make parts and 3D printed molds with high dimensional accuracy and surface finish, with fewer dimensional errors than other 3D printers.In addition, due to consistency in the three axes, it is possible to better predict, post processing, and control deformation

Special material: With high temperature resin mold (rigid 10 K resin)-- high stiffness and temperature resistance, the 3D printed mold can withstand high pressure and high temperature, prolonging the life of the mold
